The Program on Science and Global Security “uses technical and policy research, education and training” to try and “build a safer, more peaceful world.”  The SGS has engaged in “long-standing policy issues that remain to resolved and tracks emerging challenges from disruptive technologies with the potential to transform global security.” It’s also home to Science & Global Security, an “academic peer-reviewed journal for technical arms-control analysis” which works to “help develop the technical basis for new policy initiatives to reduce the risks from these technologies to international peace and security and to provide a resource for further scholarship and policy analysis. ”
