It’s dedicated to understanding and managing the risks and opportunities of advanced artificial intelligence (AI). GovAI is building a global research community to navigate the transition to a world with advanced AI, focusing on areas such as compliance certification, global norms and institutions, inclusion of the Global South, AGI safety and governance practices, frontier AI regulation, and a fellowship program for junior AI governance researchers.
