Is a non-profit organization and think tank run by a number of scholars and activists seeking to apply and inform people of traditional knowledge. It strives to advance the recognition of indigenous peoples thus safeguarding their rights and resources. In order to achieve this, CWIS engages in a wide array of activities such as drafting laws and regulations, digitizing original tribal documents, offering traditional medicines to people in need, and education students with custom-made courses. These aforementioned courses tackle different topics ranging from indigenous and environmental studies to traditional healing arts and applied indigenous research methods.
