Research Centres:
- Centre for the Study of Existential Risk – Focuses on mitigating extreme risks from emerging technologies and human activities that could cause human extinction or civilizational collapse and develops tools for identifying and assessing future risks.
- Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence – Explores AI’s implications, including algorithm transparency, automated warfare, societal impacts, induced discrimination, global design, and its effects on democracy, geopolitics, and the environment.
- Centre for Human-inspired AI – Unites interdisciplinary researchers to explore how human and machine intelligence synergy can drive AI to contribute to societal and global progress.
