It advances research, practice, and policy in humanitarian assistance. HHI is committed to relieving human suffering in war and disaster by improving the science and practice of humanitarian response worldwide. The Humanitarian Academy at Harvard offers a range of online and in-person training designed to prepare students, practitioners, and emerging leaders to succeed in the humanitarian field. The interfaculty initiative is based at Harvard University.
