Its objective is to promote economic and social development in Western Asia through regional and subregional cooperation and integration. ESCWA offers a range of services to clients throughout the region and the world, including conference services. It has also developed a plan of action called “People, Planet, and Prosperity in the Arab Region” as part of The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It provides various interactive portals and tools, such as the Social Expenditure Monitor and the United Nations Data Hub for the Arab Region.
