Is a division of ETH Zurich University of Science and Technology. It believes that providing insights, expertise and consult on Swiss as well as international security policy challenges can contribute to the quest of furthering peace in the world. CSS aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice through its various services which range from training junior researchers to teaching and informing the interested public. It operates as a thank tank that elaborates analyses and recommendations for political decision-makers, policymaking research institutes, and the general public based on the research it conducts in the field of security and strategic studies. The center’s digital library offers open-source international relations and security-related tools, materials and web-based content.
