Climate Action Tracker (2009; climateactiontracker.org)
The Climate Action Trackers an “independent scientific analysis provider” formed as a result of the “collaboration between two organizations, Climate Analytics and New Climate Institute.” It tracks government climate action and measures it against the globally agreed Paris Agreement aim” of maintaining warming below 2°C. CAT also “quantifies and evaluates climate change mitigation commitments, and assesses, whether countries are on track to meeting them.”
