It’s mission to address shared systemic problems and global changes by bringing together researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, students, NGOs, citizens, and other stakeholders through its Policy Network. It provides thought-leadership and action-orientated research to drive systems based solutions to the climate and biodiversity crises. Some of its notable projects include Tipping Points in the Earth system and highlight their potential for negative and positive changes. Also, it co-produces the Global Carbon Budget, providing updates on global carbon emissions and their impact on climate goals. It is based at the University of Exeter.
