Its conducting interdisciplinary research on international relations with a spirit of academic freedom aiming to provide operational policy options through analysis. The institute holds conferences, colloquia, and seminars to nurture the work of research fellows and encourage the exchange of views with other specialists and a well-informed public of representatives from political, economic, and academic spheres, the media, and civil society. In addition to research and meetings, it offers specialized training such as Tailored Courses in Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs, Support to Public Administration, Civilian Crisis Management Training and Courses in Security & Defence.
