Carbon War Room

Carbon War Room (2009; NY, Washington, London; rmi.org/carbon-war-room)

Founded in 2009 by Sir Richard Branson and other entrepreneurs with the stated goal “to accelerate the adoption of business solutions to advance the low-carbon economy.” Has since merged into the Rocky Mountain Institute and most activities seem to have died down.

Note: Branson seems to be good at making big promises regarding carbon and sustainability but very bad at actually delivering.
