It aids Africa’s development by enhancing human and institutional capacity. As the African Union’s Specialized Agency for Capacity Development, it has coordinated programs worth $800 million across 48 countries. Despite challenges like skill shortages and weak institutions, ACBF is committed to implementing Africa’s development priorities, including Agenda 2063, involving the private sector and civil society and generating knowledge for capacity development.
