Envisions and works to create resilient, rejuvenated, and accessible coasts for all communities. It originated as a New York Municipal Art Society project. In 2007, a collection of prominent activists, corporations, charities, and civic groups formed an independent organization to make the New York and New Jersey harbour a shared, resilient, and accessible resource for everyone. It has evolved into a network of over 1,100 organizations striving to effect meaningful change in our region’s waterways and 700 miles of coastline.
