It was established with the primary goal of providing professional analysis and advice on sustainable networked energy markets. It conducts studies for Hungarian and regional companies, government institutions, and EU institutions as part of its consultancy work. It is involved in Power Market Modeling, Gas Market Modeling, Regulating Power Modelling, Times Modelling and Carbon Capture Modelling. REKK has placed a strong focus on providing training. Its training initiatives can be categorized into three main areas: Energy Economics Course, ERRA Courses and Other Courses. It’s an independent institution affiliated with the Corvinus University of Budapest.
