It aims to to lead and support the intelligence community’s integration; delivering insights, driving capabilities, and investing in the future. This integration is “the key to ensuring national policymakers receive timely and accurate analysis from the IC to make educated decisions.” The Director of National Intelligence manages the implementation of the National Intelligence Program and serves as the principal adviser to the president and the National Security Council on intelligence issues related to national security.
