A global interdisciplinary network of students and young professionals concerned with the interface of science, technology, society, and ethics, committed to the ideals of the Pugwash Conferences on World Affairs and the 1955 Russell-Einstein Manifesto that led to the founding of the PCWA in Pugwash, Nova Scotia, Canada. A youthful Executive Board leads ISYP with the responsibility to coordinate and expand the global network, engage a new peace generation, and organize regional and international events such as the annual conference.
