Is a registered trademark of “Friends of the Earth, which has been working with Taxpayers for Common Sense and other environmental, taxpayer and consumer groups, to publish Green Scissors.” It was founded to “identify and eliminate projects that are both environmentally harmful and wasteful.” The focus of its campaign is the “annual Green Scissors report, which outlines ways to eliminate harmful projects in agriculture, energy, infrastructure and public lands.”
