Is a network of over 250 scholars worldwide from ”diverse disciplines, including ecology, biology, philosophy, epidemiology, public health, ecological economics, and international law.” It works under the motto of ”Sustaining Global Ecological Integrity and Human Health Through Science, Ethics, and Law.” Consequently, GEIG strives to “push the boundaries of scholarly endeavor through inter- and trans-disciplinary engagement” regarding both present and future sustainability governance issues.
