Environment for Development

It addresses the most urgent environmental and development issues. Its goal is to promote sustainable development and reduce poverty by incorporating environmental economics into policy design. EfD has centers in various countries, such as Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Sweden, Tanzania, and Vietnam. It works to contribute to the effective management of the environment in the Global South through policy-relevant research, capacity development, and policy engagement.
