It’s tracking the supply of conventional weapons, ammunition, and related military materials (such as IEDs) into conflict-affected areas. The group tracks the supply chain of weapons used illegally in conflict zones to trace how arms shipments are diverted.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • ITRACE – A project funded by the European Union and German Government. Its purpose is to provide policymakers with accurate and verified information on weapon transfers and to facilitate the development of effective and evidence-based weapon management and control policies.
