Zero Mercury Working Group (2005, Brussels; founded by EEB (European Environmental Bureau);

An international coalition of more than 110 public interest environmental and health NGOs from over 55 countries working to eliminate mercury pollution through the adoption of laws to minimize:

  • global supply of mercury
  • trade in mercury
  • global demand for mercury
  • anthropogenic releases of mercury to the environment
  • human and wildlife exposure to mercury
