The biennial World Investment Forum is organized by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) to promote investment for sustainable development.
The forum brings together diverse policymakers:
- government officials responsible for investment;
- representatives from the private sector;
- international organizations working in the area of sustainable development and poverty reduction;
- thought leaders from academia and research institutions.
The WIF provides a global platform for engagement and dialogue on emerging and key issues related to investing for sustainable development.
