Is “a global, multi-stakeholder membership and partnership organization” affiliated with the UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS). It works with a “range of key stakeholders and partners” to “accelerate the achievement of sustainable sanitation, hygiene and water services for all people, with special attention to the unserved poor, by enhancing collaboration and coordination of all sector stakeholders.” WSSCC’s work “contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 6, target 2, with far-reaching impacts on related SDG targets.” It also “provides vital funding for community-based, publicly-supported and commercially-operated programs” through its Global Sanitation Fund.
