Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency

It is a government agency under the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Its goal is to contribute to poverty alleviation, allowing poor people to improve their living conditions. The agency works independently within the framework laid down by the Swedish Parliament and Government, which specifies the budgets and countries with which Sida will work, and the focus of Swedish international development cooperation.
