Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative (2009; 9 staff; sseinitiative.org)
Is a “UN Partnership Programme organized by UNCTAD, the UN Global Compact, UNEP FI and the PRI.” It strives towards a “world where capital market signals align with public policy goals on sustainable development.” Consequently, it works on supporting and encouraging ”stock exchanges and securities market regulators” to “promote responsible investment in sustainable development” as well as “advance corporate performance on environmental, social and governance issues.”
