Royal Society Science Policy Centre

Royal Society Science Policy Centre (2010; London; royalsociety.org)

Royal Society Science Policy Centre was established in the run-up to the Royal Society’s 350th Anniversary in “order to strengthen the independent voice of science in UK, European and international policy”.  It aims to “champion the contribution that science and innovation can make to economic prosperity, quality of life and environmental sustainability” while recognizing that “sound policies are more likely if decision-makers have access to expert, independent scientific advice.”
