The Research Institute for Sustainable Humanosphere is a combination and expansion of two previously existing organizations, the Wood Research Institute (WRI) and the Radio Science Center for Space and Atmosphere (RASC). It seeks “to contribute to the sustainable development of human societies and welfare of mankind,” with special emphasis on the new concept of Humanosphere, composed of the ground human habitat, the forest-sphere, the atmosphere, and space. Evaluates current and future conditions of the Humanosphere and offer solutions to global problems.”
