The Jane Goodall Institute is a global wildlife and environment conservation organization enshrined in the values and work of Dr Jane Goodall. It aims to conserve the natural world by protecting chimpanzees and inspiring people. One of their programs, Roots & Shoots, aims to “empower young people to affect positive change in their communities.” Dr. Jane Goodall created the Roots & Shoots program “in order to empower and encourage youth of all ages to pursue their passion, mobilize their peers, and become the compassionate citizens and leaders our world needs in order to ensure a better future for people, other animals, and the environment.”
