The Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation is a “multi-stakeholder platform working to advance the effectiveness of development efforts by all actors.” It strives to “deliver long-lasting results that contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.” Consequently, it “brings together governments, organizations, civil society, the private sector, and representatives from parliaments and trade unions committed to strengthening the effectiveness of their partnerships for development.” GPEDC also “provides practical guidance and supports the country-level implementation of the internationally-agreed development effectiveness principles.”
