Is an organization working to map Canada’s intact forest landscapes which are home to over a third of the world’s boreal forest, one quarter of the world’s temperate forests and a tenth of the total global forest cover. GFWC also supports the stewardship and conservation of Canada’s remaining forests by providing decision-makers and civil society with timely and accurate information on their location, state, and changes.
