Mission: 1) to map Canada’s intact forest landscapes (home to over a third of the world’s boreal forest, one quarter of the world’s temperate forests and a tenth of the total global forest cover); 2) to support stewardship and conservation of Canada’s remaining forests, by providing decision makers and civil society with timely, accurate information on their location, state, and change.
