The Geneva Environment Network is a “cooperative partnership of over 75 environment and sustainable development organizations based in the International Environment House and elsewhere in the Geneva area, including United Nations offices and programmes, non-governmental organizations, local authorities and academic institutions.” The GEN provides a “forum for the exchange of ideas and for the development of synergies between projects.” It “raises public awareness of global environmental problems and highlights measures that can be taken by individuals to protect the environment.”
