Fairtrade International is a “group of organizations working to secure a better deal for producers.” The “product-oriented multistakeholder group” aims to protect workers and farmers, promoting their lives through trade. Its work is guided by a “global strategy focused on ensuring that all farmers earn a living income, and agricultural workers earn a living wage.” The main products that are “promoted under the Fairtrade label are coffee, cocoa, banana, flowers, tea, and sugar”.
