Earth System Governance Project

It “is the largest social science research network in the area of governance and global environmental change.” As a global research alliance -with 300 active and about 2,300 indirectly involved scholars-, it “takes up the challenge of exploring political solutions and novel, more effective governance mechanisms to cope with the current transitions in the biogeochemical systems of the planet.” This programme was developed under the support of the International Human Dimensions Programme on Global Environmental and since 2015 “it is part of the overarching international research platform Future Earth.”
