The Commission on Ecosystem Management  is a commission of the International Union for Conservation of Nature. It strives to “to address global changes” by building the “resilience of socio-ecological systems” as well as “promoting biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.” Consequently, CEM provides “expert guidance on integrated approaches to the management of natural and modified ecosystems.”
