Is “an independent nonprofit center for research, public education and advocacy on U.S. foreign policy”. It strives to promote human rights and solve global challenges through international cooperation. CIP aims at making peace, justice and sustainability the focus of the U.S. foreign policy by promoting a more cooperative, transparent and demilitarized approach to the U.S.’ international relations. The center tackles and aims to solve some of the world’s most urgent issues such as “war, corruption, inequality and climate change” through its projects on defense alternatives, arms and security, financial transparency, deforestation, and many more.
