Is a U.S. non-profit public interest and environmental advocacy organization that has been fighting the industrial food model which uses harmful food production technologies for twenty years. Instead, it promotes sustainable, ecological, and organic agricultural substitutes. CFS also uses legal actions, scientific and policy reports and other educational materials to educate consumers on organic food and products. It has successfully conducted several legal cases pertaining to food and agricultural issues. It maintains offices in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, California, Portland, Oregon and Honolulu, Hawaii.
