Is a non-governmental watchdog organization striving to promote sustainable development in Serbia. It started working in the area of sustainable forestry, agriculture and poverty reduction of local communities and then evolved as a national based NGO with a more general line of work. It has a strong track record in supporting local communities affected by infrastructural projects to advocate for their rights. CEKOR is working with both national and international organizations such as CEE Bankwatch Network on projects and events ranging from monitoring international financial institutions’ activities in Serbia to working on issues in the areas of transport, waste, biodiversity, genetically modified organisms (GMO) and making the city of Subotica sustainable.
