Center for a Livable Future (2003; Baltimore; 34 staff; clf.jhsph.edu)

Operates out of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, from the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering. It works with students, educators, researchers, policymakers, advocacy organizations and communities to build a healthier, more equitable and resilient food system. CLF’s work naturally contributes to SDGs, since it operates at the intersection of public health and food systems, specifically the goals related to ending poverty, ending hunger and malnutrition, and achieving good health and wellbeing. The Center strives to support teachers and learners beyond the traditional university classroom so it raises awareness about food system issues through free courses, a textbook, lesson plans for teachers and more.
