American Sustainable Business Council (2009; Washington; 9 staff; asbcouncil.org)
A non-profit network of “businesses and business associations committed to the triple bottom line: People, Planet, and Profit. We know sustainable business is good business – and a sustainable economy is good for America.” Their goal is to “change public policy, we advocate for legislation that supports sustainability, equity, and justice – from a business perspective.” They represent over 250,000 businesses and 325,000 business executives.
