World Index for Social and Environmental Responsibility

Founding Year: 2007

Paul Hawken (Founder)

Launched in 2007 by Paul Hawken, it was a social network that focuses on social and environmental responsibility. The network connected to a range of NGOs, governments, businesses, groups and individuals who address global issues such as poverty and climate change. But in 2014, the website was archived and shut down. It’s domain has since been used for the Workie Institute for Social and Educational Research.
