The World Alliance for Decentralized Energy is a non-profit research and promotional organization. It aims to “bring about advancement in the field of cogeneration and renewable energy sources” to lessen “the negative impact of use of the conventional energy on the climate”. Originally named International Cogeneration Alliance, the organisation changed it’s name to WADE  after it expanded it’s scope to “include onsite energy generation techniques from small resources”.
