What Is Missing? Foundation (2003; New York; whatismissing.net)

The What is Missing? Foundation aims “to create innovative artworks that utilize sound, media and scientific and historical information to connect people to the species, places and natural phenomena that have disappeared, or will most likely disappear, if we don’t act to protect them”. In order to make people “aware of this sixth mass extinction of species in the planet’s history”  it highlights “what scientists and environmental groups throughout the world are doing to help protect species and habitats”.
