The We Mean Business coalition is a “global nonprofit coalition working with the world’s most influential businesses to take action on climate change” to “catalyze business action and driving policy ambition to accelerate the zero-carbon transition”. They work to ensure that “the world economy is on track to avoid dangerous climate change by 2020 while delivering sustainable growth and prosperity for all”. Businesses around the world are “calling for governments to enact stronger policies and commit to raising their ambition in key multilateral moments and national policymaking processes”. These commitments give “businesses the clarity and confidence they need to invest in the technologies and markets for the zero-carbon future”.
