The “partnership of private donors” aims to “reduce the threat of global climate change, advance energy efficiency and renewable energy, reduce our reliance on coal, and protect the world’s forests.” They fund projects totalling over $ 20M annually in four major program areas, which “promote energy efficient buildings and appliances; bring renewable energy to scale; reduce reliance on coal; and protect forests and species.”
