Super-Efficient Equipment and Appliance Deployment Initiative

Founding Year: 2010



It is an initiative of the Clean Energy Ministerial as well as a task within the International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation. It aims to address “urgent global energy challenges and promote the manufacture, purchase, and use of energy-efficient appliances, lighting, and equipment worldwide.” It works to foster “information exchange on policies and activities, allowing participants to take advantage of best practices and lessons learned by other countries, and identify opportunities for bilateral and multilateral cooperation.”
