Security Council Report
An independent organization that provides reliable information about the United Nations Security Council and its subsidiary bodies with the aim of “advancing the transparency and effectiveness of their decision-making.” Consequently, it encourages the “engagement of the Council with all member states and civil society.” SCR strives to “build capacity on Council practice and procedure” by assisting “incoming members and other training and assistance programs.”
