An environmental organization that strives to “protect and regenerate tropical rainforests by working with the people of the forests to develop sustainable livelihoods that empower and respect both people and nature through its projects.” Consequently, it establishes global partnerships with “schools, youth groups, businesses and individuals to foster changes in everyday practices that impact rainforests.” Furthermore, PR works with local “rainforest communities in developing environmentally sustainable businesses that will help the communities protect and regenerate their forests.”
