Is a “philanthropic peace and security foundation dedicated to building a world where nuclear weapons are never used again.” It uses a “unique approach to grant-making” wherein its network of 85 organizations and 200 “thought leaders, innovators, media experts, advocates and campaigners” work on “facilitating advocacy and media efforts” to bring attention to worthwhile issues such as nuclear threats as well as peace and security issues in the hopes of “influencing the national narrative on nuclear policy.” It pools contributions from individuals and invests them in initiatives that aim to prevent the use of nuclear weapons and nip conflicts that could lead to their use in the bud.
