It  “aims to strengthen the capacities of and collaboration between organisations to increase their contribution to reducing violence and building peace.”  It’s work recognizes the strong connection between conflict and sustainability, trying to foster the progress of the SDGs. While they are based in Switzerland, it also has offices across West Africa, Central Asia, South East Asia and the Western Balkans,

Programs:

  • Organizational Development: Enabling “organisations that have peacebuilding at the core of their mission to become more effective and achieve higher impact, ­­whether they are a multilateral, a governmental ­or a civil society actor.”
  • Conflict Sensitivity: Supporting “civil society, governmental institutions and businesses with a high impact in fragile and conflict-affected contexts to improve their practices, so their actions do not fuel violence and contribute to peaceful change where possible.”
  • Business Engagement:  Supporting “affected communities, local civil society organisations, companies and governments to improve business practices in fragile and conflict affected countries.”
