OSU Program in Water Conflict Management and Transformation

Corvallis, OR, EE. UU.Est. 20013 staff
Leadership Aaron T. Wolf (Program Co-Director) Lynette de Silva (Program Co-Director)

It actively supports water conflict prevention and transformation in Oregon, across the United States, and internationally through a four-fold approach: offering a Certificate in Water Conflict Management and Transformation and other Educational Opportunities; maintaining the Transboundary Freshwater Dispute Database; forming Partnerships for Transboundary Waters; and building Capacity through Collaborative Facilitations and Skills-Building Workshops. This program “fills the niche as a broader, more integrative approach that explicitly integrates human, policy, and scientific dimensions of water resources within the framework of governance and sustainability.”
